If High Tea at its finest is what I’m after, then The Tea Room at Queen Victoria Building (my favourite building) is one of the places I go to. One of the High Tea places that I can’t afford to miss whenever I’m in Sydney. I always dream of its high, beautifully detailed ceilings and grand chandeliers so it’s always a pleasure to come back to this place whenever I can. A high tea fit for a princess. And today, I’m a princess.👸🏻
My Mr. Wassle chose the Chinese New Year themed tier and I got the traditional one so we have a bit of everything.
Walking up to the entrance to the dining hall, you can already feel that you’re in for a special treat.
Look how grand this place is! The chandeliers, the high beautifully-detailed ceilings…
Here I am, prepping for my high tea. Making sure my napkin is secured tightly to my lap as I’m going to be indulging very soon!
This is the Chinese-themed tier ~ that yuzu macaron is to die for!
The Traditional High Tea tier.
Everything in beautiful Royal Albert fine bone chinaware ~ from the teacup to the tier plates.
The dragonfruit tart is so yummy!
Someone’s having the best time! I think I’m missing a tiara because high tea always make me feel like a princess. Well, more so whenever I’m with my Mr. Wassle.
Of course, Mr. Wassle’s High Tea wouldn’t be complete without french champagne.
Definitely a 5 star rating from the High Tea connoisseur! Ehem.🤗
